NOMAD MOM ON YOUTUBE

Great news (or not so great news depending on how you look at it). Nomad Mom is now on youtube. Whoopie! I’ve added a whole new category to the blog called “Now the World” where you’ll soon find new videos, reviews, commentary on the places I live and visit and the life that I lead. In other words, stuff that doesn’t necessarily pertain to the family but that I still want to discuss.

So here is my first video. Let me give you a frame of reference for it:

I am sweating my balls off over here in Oxford. The UK is not built to survive a month-long heatwave. My house is broiling. The nursery has given up all hope and is now letting the kids dump buckets of water on their heads every afternoon. I’ve been putting on my big girl pants every day for work, but going in wearing only my undies for casual Friday is seeming like a better and better idea. My only hope for survival lies in the downstairs half-bathroom. Heaven help me…

P.S. And yes, I was drinking wine in the bathroom. Sue me.
