Dear Supermarket Manager,
I wanted to send you a little note to say thank you for the lovely experience I had in your store today. You really outdid yourselves!
Let me start by complimenting your helpful staff. The young men who restock the shelves really went above and beyond to make sure I got the latest produce today. While ramming my shopping cart with a giant cart of bags of mixed lettuce isn’t the normal procedure, it certainly was effective. Those 6 bags that fell into my basket will go a long ways towards making sure I stick to my diet.
You showed great inventiveness in arranging the items in the store. I found six items I wasn’t looking for while trying to track down the sugar. I always forget that Dutch people only use it is as a coffee sweetener! I guess that is how you all stay so fit. And spreading the cheese options across three sections really keeps me on my toes.
Finally, I’d like to say a heartfelt thanks for your help in entertaining my kids during my shopping excursion. Those pint-sized kiddy shopping carts are a favorite of my kids. You were so clever to attach the long flag poles so that I can keep a death grip on them while shopping. If I might make a small suggestion, perhaps you could consider offering extra arms at the entrance to the store. An extra 3 or 4 would allow me to hold onto the mini-carts and return unneeded items to the shelf while shopping for the ones that are actually on my list. Oh, and those plastic restock trays that clutter the aisles make great speedbumps and obstacle courses for my girls, but maybe you already knew that.
I heard that there is a remodel planned for the store. I can’t wait to see what “improvements” will come out of it! Will we have multiple produce sections as well? Will the new layout cause the baking aisle to disappear completely? I guess time will tell.
Thanks again,
Lynn, The Nomad Mom
